"The school offered many opportunities for students to be prepared for the college level and/or post-high school plans through numerous curriculums and programs that fit the individual student. The school also features a number of clubs that work to serve the community and neighboring communities. A great deal of courses and classes are allowed for students to take on during the school year that will benefit them toward their path in college."

"Chaparral High School was an unforgettable experience. The entire vibe that you share with students of different interests is incomparable to other schools. I have never felt more welcome and free to develop as an individual without the amount of support from staff and fellow students that I cannot imagine any other school for me to be at other than Chaparral."

"Chaparral High School is one with many pros and cons. While it is an older high school it offers some recent upgrades and advancements. Most of the teachers are good with working with the students and helping them. The students I believe can make the school difficult to tolerate. There is a lot of drama, a lot more than most schools should have."

"CHS has been a place where I have excelled academically, socially and athletically. I've taken AP and dual enrollment classes as part of my high school schedule. Socially, I found a home in Show Choir and Drama. I tried out for the Tennis Team my junior year and was named MVP and was a co-captain my senior year. I also took stats for the boys wrestling team. I believe CHS helped me become a well rounded candidate for college. I am attending UC Davis pending financial aid."

"My experience at Chaparral High School has been pretty good so far. It isn't the best school but they do a lot to prepare you for college. The school is also too crowded. I would like to see the school do something about changing how many people can attend the school."
