"New Fairfield High School has no diversity, a continuously plummeting math department, and staff that don't genuinely care about the student's well-being, aside from a few. There have been many reports from students who do well in math at New Fairfield who go to take college placement tests who score significantly lower than they should. The office secretaries are rude as soon as you walk in, making it seem like a hostile environment. On the plus side though, there is a large variety of clubs and activities held for students and run by students. The sports teams aren't the worst in the world, but certainly aren't the best. The best thing I have found from New Fairfield High School is that, usually by senior year, your entire class in a way "unites" and it feels like almost everyone is friends with everyone."

"I had an amazing time at New Fairfield High School and made friends that I plan (and hope) to keep for a lifetime. The teachers here are knowledgable and extremely passionate about what they do, and while the math department hasn't been doing the greatest, it has definitely gotten better in the past year."

"New Fairfield High School is a great place to go to school. I'm currently a junior here, and there is so many opportunities at my high school. We have a variety of electives for students to choose from, like anatomy, EMT, woodworking, art, music, band, astronomy, robotics, etc. All of the teachers and guidance counselors are extremely kind. The students here are all encouraging of each other and genuinely nice to each other. We have a plethora of sports and clubs to choose from. There is baseball, field hockey, swim and dive, tennis, football, cheerleading, basketball, soccer, softball, etc. Some clubs we have are National Honors Society, Shakespeare Club, Language Clubs, FBLA, FCCLA, Ski club, Rebel Ambassadors, Deca, etc. Our school is also located in a very safe area and it's a great place to go to 5 out of 7 days in a week! Overall, New Fairfield High School is a wonderful place to send your kids to school!"

"It was a good place to stay connected with the small town around us. Certain teaching departments could drastically be improved with the way they try to teach the students."

"The students and teachers are friendly. The math department can for sure use some help but for the most part it is a great school."
