"Located in the very hot North Las Vegas, Cheyenne High School is a school worthy of mention. The school itself is welcoming of people of all backgrounds and serves as a spot for important politicians and parties to host their events. During the 2016 election year, a poll was done for the state of Nevada about a set of laws that were going to be changed in the 2017 year inside of our school. Students like me and other political nerds helped organize the event by setting up tables, cleaning up the auditorium, etc. The school has a motto of "teaching students the skills they need to be a productive member of our expanding, technological society." We would participate in nationwide sports and robotics competitions, host political events, and host seasonal festivities for anyone around the community to come. Overall, what this school lacks in resources, it makes up for in preparing the students for life after school."

"I feel like Cheyenne high school needs improvement. In it's students and staff members. The school itself need to be taken care of and is overall dirty and need cleaning. Only certain people know how to do their jobs and others seem not to care."

"Although I was afraid to start high school in Cheyenne because of its bad reputation. I had great teachers who encouraged me to do better. Mrs. Smith who was my government teacher was the one who helped me decide what major to choose."

"My experience at Cheyenne was not what I expected, while Cheyenne didn't live up to it's rather "ghetto" reputation my first year, it did get progressively worse due to a change in principals. Dr. Zachary Robbins not only lowered the standards and lied about our test scores but he also wanted to get rid of art programs. I owe my success in high school to the JROTC program and to my own upbringing. Not to any of the lies Dr. Robbins spews every day."
