"Mather is a really great school. Mather helps students who are not that good with English. Mather teachers are great."

"The things I liked about Mather High School is the Extracurricular Activities, sports, technologies, staff, teachers & many more things. I was in the robotics club and the technology lab. I had fun building robots and going to competitions. By joining this Extracurricular Activity, I have gained leadership skills, engineering skills, teamwork, & problem solving skills. I have used the 3D- printer, Drones, Heat press machine & many more technologies from the lab. The teachers are willing to stay after school to help you succeed in class and give you advice in anything. Lots of opportunities for internships and various programs for you in the summer. You just need to ask around about it. People have said things about Mather, I believe it's the students and the teachers job to succeed in school. If these two don't cooperate then there will be consequences in the students education. Overall, I enjoyed being there and I am proud to say that I am a Mather High School graduate!!!"

"From my freshmen to junior year, the best word to describe these years is literally "chill". The school system did not punish its students for nearly everything unlike it did for my senior year. My senior year was when a lot of minor administrative issues changed and I would not be surprised if I were to hear about more major alterations. \Speaking from experience, it is quite easy to get involved with extracurriculars, in fact, joining the Acadec and the Math Team is what made my time at Mather more enjoyable. Every year, I had at least one teacher I would prefer never to interact with again, but for the most part, the teachers are open to conversation and to offer additional help if necessary, which I was extremely grateful for. It may be difficult not to fall into the toxic atmosphere of not caring, as there are many students who do not have motivation to do well in certain subjects. That being said, there are definitely better students who are passionate about learning."

"It was diverse, made some great friends the latter two years of school, and the connections I made in the Law & Public Safety Academy helped me to succeed. On the downside, it was small and the opportunity wasn't there in basketball or football."

"It is an average school, to say the least. There are good students and there are those that are sketchy. I have learned that high school is what you make of it, so I do my best to succeed, and pay no attention to those that don't care to. I have had some teachers that were really great, while other teachers did not seek to make the curriculum challenging and instead talked too much during class time. If there was anything that I would improve, it would be clubs/student-teacher involvement . The clubs are really empty, the students are not involved, and the teachers running them do not seem to be invested. Overall, it is an okay school. I have found a way to make it work and stand out academically. I think that anyone in any high school can thrive if they use the resources around them."
