"This school is for people who are actually focused on the majors they offer like art, band, drama etc. Children should not be forced into going to the school because it is a "good school" when it really matters on what your interest are and what you will take from the school. Being they will most likely fail because grades are mainly on the major rather than actual classes like science, math, etc.. Bringing grades up here is very hard and takes time to where you may not even be able to bring it up."

"My son is currently enrolled and my daughter recently graduated from OCSA. I love how the school staff encourages and pushes to students to challenge themselves. This school has many activities to keep students engaged and allows each art major to demonstrate and grow in their area. The school expects students to succeed academically as well and makes an effort to support each student. They have zero bullying tolerance and there is a diverse community of students that begin from 6th grade to 12th, so they grow as a family as well."

"Being there since sixth grade, I have witnessed so many changes. From new students coming in to new teachers with so much positive energy. I have seen buildings change, teachers come and go, friends move away, but throughout all of the changes the school never changes its dedication to its students. The education provided is always on top and its resouces are always amazing. Helping seniors like myself prepare for college has always been something the school really helps with. They will help you overcome your fears and help you with any steps you have trouble with. As for the incoming middle schoolers, they are always welcomed with smiles and help wherever they go."

"Osceola County School for the Arts is a nice option for middle-schoolers seeking a safer, more nurturing environment. The math teachers, especially, are excellent. No sports are offered due to it being an art school, so students seeking a variety of extracurriculars should consider other options. They do offer other clubs, though, like National Honor Society and TSA. Very few AP courses are offered on-campus, but students are encouraged to dual-enroll with Valencia and able to apply to dual-enroll with the University of Florida. Depending on the major you apply for, there are several performance opportunities open to you. OCSA is unique in that once a month, they host a "recital" to showcase the development of the art created by different majors."

"What I like about my school is how inthis type of environment one to able to feel free to express themselves through their art. Being in Ocsa is like being in a family and no one judges you."
