"I am currently a senior at Mission Bay High School and have attended 9th grade. There are pros and cons when attending this school. I am not one to be easily fascinated with science, but I have had the privilege of having Mr. Walters for 4 years now. He makes learning an experience that is pleasurable. He always comes up with new ideas on helping the environment and uniting the school. He excels at what he does and is one of the best teachers I've had. I feel as though Mission Bay should find more teachers like Mr. Walters. My freshman and sophomore year I had 2 math teachers where I felt as though I did not learn enough to prepare me for my third year. Mr. Moura is one of the greatest Math teachers, he understood our struggle with the lack of knowledge due to prior years. Instead of getting upset, he taught the material where we could fully understand it before moving on. Mission Bay can improve with their staff, overall you can encounter students who are willing to learn."

"My 3 children had great experiences at Mission Bay High School and are now all attending excellent 4 year universities. The lack of pretension and external pressure leaves room for students to seize opportunities and challenge themselves. The International Baccalaureate program is there for students who really want to take it to the next level. The administration is very accessible. I am proud that my children attended MBHS. What's even more important is that they loved it."

"I had a great four year experience. I would add more courses that could be beneficial in our life. I would also like for the teachers and staff to be more supportive of the students."

"This school lacked a lot of school spirit. As a student there you don't really know much of what's happening unless you hear it through your friends or go and ask a staff member. I was able to leave the school with any other kind of high school education, but the most important thing I gained from going there were the lifetime friendships I got to gain with my friends today."

"I'm a recent graduate of the mission bay class of 2017, and these past 4 years have been amazing. From the sports to the teachers in the class room things have defiantly changed and for the better. The only things I would like to see change would be school spirit and the cafeteria food"
