"I loved at Kennewick High how everyone is accepting of who you are. You don't get judged for not looking a "certain" way or by being popular or what you do. It's really easy making friends and finding out what you like through clubs and extracurricular activities. I would like to see more students have school spirit and support sports and clubs more. Dressing up for games and themes or spirit days to show you are proud of your school while having a little fun and coming out of your comfort zone. I know for some people they had a bad experience in high school and I have yet to have one of those moments and I'm a junior. I honestly really love my high school."

"At KeHS, I love the IB program that we have. It provides rigorous courses that challenge us and prepare us for the university level classes we soon will be taking. The only thing I would change would be the overall school spirit. I would like to see my student peers more involved in school activities aside from academics."

"Overall positive experience from Kennewick High. Kennewick is a very diverse school with a student body consisting of a whole mixture of races, ethnicity's, and nationalities. Kennewick also has the IB program which is a internationally accredited program that really prepares students for a harsh College workload. The staff is all very friendly and supportive and due to the school being on the smaller end - some 1500 students - staff are willing to work after school with students one-on-one in order to make sure they are understanding the material. It's safety is A+ as an active duty cop maintains the role of security guard and there is even a police station just a block down the road. Kennewick High sports are hit and miss - baseball is great though - but we stand true to our name of EKU (East Kennewick Uglies) because even if our under-funded teams look and play ugly, we still have pride in our school and believe in our team's ability to win no matter what. Lion Pride!"
