"Pacific Grove High School's excellent staff and good curriculums have made it a great place to go to school. With a small population, classes are typically small and intimate and everyone knows everyone else. One thing that could be changed or improved on is the fact that students and staff do not always see eye to eye with administration which can lead to serious scheduling problems whether it be on a day to day basis such as scheduling assemblies as well as over the school year causing breaks and vacations to happen at awkward and inconvenient times."

"My experience at this school over the span of 4 years has taught me many life lessons and expanded my life goals. Having a very high academic standard as well as in depth sports program, results in a unique environment filled with extremely active students in many different areas. Being a part of Leadership taught me many inter workings of the school, and how considerate the administration is of its students. The spread out, outdoor campus, allows for freedom and space from other students as well as quiet secluded places. The student body as a whole is fairly involved in events creating a very positive learning atmosphere. The arts, drama, and music departments are all very developed and involved with events. I am extremely proud to say that I will graduate from this establishment, and am happy to have spent four years here."

"I love this high school and I enjoy the social atmosphere. It is very friendly . The teacher student interactions are very cooperative. The library can be considered to be the the heart of the school as most of the students interact with one another to help each other and improve their academic skills in various subject areas."

"The classes offered are great, but there could be more "elective" classes."

"Decent diversity at PGHS although it is predominantly white and upper middle class."
