"I have been a student at Chaparral for three years so far now. As I begin my last year of high school, I remember all of the doors Chaparral has opened for me. Chaparral High School offers a wide variety of courses for its students, which allows them to learn about topics they will actually enjoy. Chaparral is also known for its well performing sports programs. I have been apart of their girls basketball program for three years now. This program provides many ways for its athletes to improve their skills even during the off season, whether its through open gym workouts, summer basketball camp, a summer basketball league, or tournaments. Chaparral also has a wide variety of clubs for students to join and become apart of. If there's a club that we don't have, Chaparral makes is very easy for its students to create any club they desire to join. Overall Chaparral provides everything needed or its students to apply and challenge themselves to become their greatest self."

"It was great, I want a better math department. I loved how much AP and dual enrollment was offered. This really helped me in college because now I am a semester ahead."

"Good school with good academics and athletics (I am in the top 10% of my class and won a state championship for girls soccer); however, needs school spirit and an administrative staff who promotes school involvement"

"Chaparral is a high quality high school with many opportunities offered. With its wide range of clubs, sports, and arts Chaparral can appeal to everyone. The teachers are fantastic and really care about the well being of their students. Some departments are better than others academically, such as the english program, and the math program. They are both conducted the same with approximately the same amount of teachers but most students would agree that the english department blows the math department out of the water. The student body is very enthusiastic about sporting events, school dances, and other school sponsored activities. With each increasing grade level teachers demand an increasing level of responsibility. By senior year students become very self sufficient and prepared for college.Overall Chaparral is an excellent public institution that can prepare students for the rigor of college."
