"What I like about Oswego East is all the diversity in the students, the friendliness and willingness of the teachers and staff, and the wide variety or clubs and sports. East has many opportunities for students to get involved and find a passion. What I would change about the school is some of the very strict rules like the dress code, the 'no backpacks policy', etc. Overall, I think Oswego East is a great school and I have enjoyed going there for my whole high school career."

"Oswego East was honestly just your typical white suburban high school. It wasn't that exciting and the people weren't the best, but it definitely was a lot better than some of the other high schools I've seen. While the school does have some pretty good funding, I don't believe they use it properly. They put so much funding into the sports and athletic programs when they leave the art department struggling in the end. The teachers were either hit or miss, and I've had both good and really bad teachers. I've witnessed some really inappropriate things happen in that school, not only between kids but also between the teachers, but I suppose that's going to happen anywhere you go. When I was there, I just tried to keep my head down and stay out of trouble and it kind of worked. Over all, Oswego East wasn't terrible but I definitely didn't like it."
