"My experience at Plainfield North was average. I do not feel as though there was anything spectacular about this school. I always prioritized my education and was able to keep good grades throughout my time there. Like many other things, high school was what you made of it. Luckily I was able to find clubs like the Latino Cultural Club and the Plainfield Rugby Club, where I felt I belonged. Attending a diverse college has also made me realize how much Plainfield North lacks diversity. While I was still a student, I remember that administration never made it a point to show interest in diversity or support the cultural clubs. It would be nice to see more interest from administration in something other than sports (football) and have money go to other places (besides football)."

"Plainfield North has one of the best athletic programs in the district. Their are many ways to get the extra help that you need. During all study hall periods they have tutors in the media center helping students with what ever they need. Most if not all are willing to stay after or come in early to see you do the best that you can. One thing that needs to change is that the computers never work and we almost never use our books that we are paying for. One thing I do like is that they aren't required to take your height and weight in gym class anymore."

"Overall, Plainfield North is an okay school. Some teachers are fantastic, a few are down right horrible. There are a lot of activities outside of school that students can take part of. The school needs a technology update and needs to change their rules on allowing students to use their phones in class so students can gather information on a project or paper because of the unreliable computers. The school lacks in college readiness. they briefly teach you about Naviance and have a few college fairs but they need to start working on it earlier so students can have a nice and smooth not rushed process."

"Plainfield North is an interesting place, with interesting people and faculty. The education here is pretty great, but there are quite a few teachers who aren't that great. There is a lot of support for each student if you take advantage of it.(tutoring, college counselors, conselours) The people here can be rude, but that's the same as any High school. The food is not that great, especially for your health, and different lines for food get shut down all the time. That means you end up in a very long line and by the time you get your food, the period for lunch is almost over. Speaking of periods, psd202 should have 8 periods in school, not 7. With only 7, it's hard to explore your interests and you end up with a worse gpa than your counterparts at other schools. All in all Plainfield North is a decent school, as a junior going into senior year, I am proud to have spent my time here, and hopefully it will help me prepare for college. PS: The marching band is the best, please join it!"

"I liked the dedication of the students and staff at PNHS. I would like to see their cell phone policy change, it's too strict."
