"Point Loma high is one of those schools that sound very nice but once you step into it, it's something else. There are a lot of drugs in the area and disrespectful children. However, many of the teachers are very good and keep those who want to learn very involved. I would send my child here but if I lived closer to a nicer school I would pick it over this one."

"Point Loma High was a fun high school to be a part of. Sporting events and other school events made for a great four years. Some academic courses seemed to be more based on morals rather than peeping for college."

"I liked how my other friends from Correia came to high school so I wasn't alone for my four years. I had lots of fun going to some games like basketball ones or the football ones at night. I liked how much diversity it had, lots of Mexicans. I liked how there wasn't a lot of bullying like in other schools. I went to go buy a burrito my third period because I had nothing to do and I got caught. A bunch of people always ditch class to do that and they never get caught so why me."

"Point Loma High School has the best people, if you choose the best groups. The students won't let you feel left out and the teacher care about how you do in their class and in general. I believe it is a great school."

"Most of the teachers are really good and they're passionate about what your learning. The concealers care about the classes you take and getting you ready for college and life after highschool. They also recommend scholarships and they help you sign up for financial aid."
