"Loudoun Valley High School is the traditional high school experience. You must want to push yourself in order to reach your best potential there."

"Loudoun Valley is a good school overall. There's a balance of academic and extracurricicular committment, and although the community does seem to put more weight on the athletic department than any other, the arts and music departments are held at a high standard as well. As with any school, there are both average teachers and a few great ones, but a student would be hard pressed to find a teacher who didn't care, regardless of teaching talent. There are a number of clubs and activites at the school- and if a student can't find one they like, they always can choose to start a new one with the help of a teacher sponsor. The academic standing of Valley is overall above national average, however students are held to a high standard and expected to push themselves for the 'hard' classes ( and to do well on exams and CollegeBoard tests), rather than just taking the ones which will be beneficial to them later in life."

"I like the freedom we have at Valley. Most of the teachers are ok but there is more than a handful of bad teachers, They either don't teach, are rude and put students down, are unorganized, or are all over the place. The technology here is ok, we have class sets of IPads but we never really use them. The computer system though is very slow and there is always somethings wrong with it, I feel like."

"At Loudoun Valley High School I can honestly say I've had an incredible experience. While there are some unfavorable teachers and administration, just as there would be in any other school, most of the faculty I've encountered treat the students with great amounts of respect. The students there usually feel comfortable expressing any ideas or confusion they might have. They are exposed to so many new ideas and opportunities. With clubs like Prism (discussion of LGBTQ+ issues) and We're All Human (discussion of racial issues), it's clear that Valley is a school that encourages the acceptance and empowerment of diversity. Along with these student-led clubs, there are also many opportunities for hands-on experience with jobs and colleges. A broad range of classes are offered to suit the needs of any student. It's quite obvious that the community at Loudoun Valley works very hard to ensure the success of each of its members."
