"My time at SJHS was great overall and while I can't say the same for others, there are some truly great things about SJHS. Many of the teachers and staff sincerely care about the students and in my opinion made life better at SJHS because I knew I could trust and count on them. The students I met at school were also fantastic as most of them were polite and respectful which made it easy to talk to them. I made some of my best friends at SJHS so I'm not complaining too much. However, there are many issues I had with the school such as that the office was not on top of student notifications and the campus was littered with trash. Some things I think can be improved upon are School spirit (which was always lacking especially with pep rallys) and expanding some facilities (especially the music room more commonly known as the band room). Overall though, my experience at SJHS was great but there are some things that I hope will change in the coming years."

"San Jacinto high school was a great learning experience for me. The teachers are very caring and do a great job. SJHS is where I made friendships that will last a life time and memories that will never fade. This school is great and very spirited when it comes to football games and showing school pride overall!"

"San Jacinto High School is a great school for the city it is in. There is a lot of crime outside of the school but not really inside. This school offers a lot of opportunities for how small it is. They offer AP programs, IB programs, free PSAT tests, and many other academic steps to get into college. We are less than 2 miles from a community college so we also have concurrent enrollment which many other schools do not have. San Jacinto High School is an awesome high school with great teachers and counselors if you use up all of the resources they provide for students. We also have a diverse set of students that range from Native American to African Americans to Asians."

"This school is a great school. The environment of the school is very friendly. Teachers at this school are also great. Of course every great thing has its flaws but this school, even with its few flaws is one of the best."

"Overall, my experience at San Jacinto High School was pretty good. Throughout my four years of being there, I was opened up to a wide variety of opportunities, and I was pushed to excel. I took part in athletics from my Freshman year all through my Senior year. I played Volleyball, Tennis, Basketball, Softball, and Soccer. With our sports, I was able to gain a lot of connections, like with college coaches and gained job opportunities. Also, with the sports even clubs, you can obtain skills in leadership, collaboration, self-discipline and more. I'm a student that gets good grades, but procrastinates A LOT. My teachers are pretty lenient and I just do what I have to do in order to graduate. San Jacinto High School is a pretty good school overall. There isn't a lot of criminal activity going on, the people are tolerable and friendly, the food is decent, and the campus is getting there. I had a good time there and I would recommend sending your kid there."
