"The teachers are very warm and comforting. They're always there for you, and always assisting you whenever you need their help. I feel very safe with all my teachers and the staff. It was a good experience. The school could get more funds to make it a better place to study. I know everyone is doing their best to contribute to making George Washington HS better."

"I graduated from here in 2010 and was 5th in my class. This school has the potential to be better than what it is. With better funding and more attention to student needs, it could be one of the better schools in the Philadelphia area. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy my years at GWHS as I felt the environment was oppressive and uninspiring."

"I loved it my experience at Washington I've had my ups and downs but I the teachers and my friends all pushing me to do better There's a lot to like such as great teachers welcoming us into their class ready to teach us what we need to know there was also awesome with faculty members and staff in the school I like almost everything about Washington there's one thing that I would change though. What I would like to see changed about Washington is the students the students gives such disrespect to all teachers, staff, school police. They are doing/saying horrible things.students blame the teachers because they think they're giving them bad grades on purpose they are just doing their jobs the only reason students get bad grades is because of lack of effort. They expect you need to give them good grades for doing nothing Teachers are just doing their jobs. Students have to change."

"Two positive features I like about George Washington High School is achieving a national honor society award and classes so far looking pretty essential."

"It was a very awkward and a school needing student attitude improvements and academic improvement. Students caused too much trouble and made the rules very unfair for the kids that caused no harm or actually did what was right."
