"Food and finance is not the worst school but, it definitely has its flaws. One main problem is the lack of teachers. Less teachers, mean less classes, leaving students at FFHS to take classes they already took , or miss a class they need."

"My experience at Food and Finance High School is what you would call "an okay experience." When I was a freshman just starting high school, I was eager to learn and explore the many ways of Food & Finance High School. Now as a junior, I no longer see the fun in this school. I no longer want to get up in the morning and get ready because the teachers do not make me eager to learn. The teachers sometimes get disrespected by the students making the teachers not want to teach, making sure the students are not learning what we need to be taught. It's unfair for the scholars, such as myself, to not be taught because it's harder for us to pass the class. When I am at school, I do not feel safe. There was an incident where a fight happened after school and multiple students, myself included were pepper sprayed by the cops. Even though I was not involved in the fight, I was still in an unsafe environment."

"My school is a good experience to have a good cooking career. It is a positive community and a great place to be when you want to become a chef."

"Food & Finance High School was the best life changing event that I went through. Attending there showed me how finding your passion in life isn't easy but the journey is filled with fun and hardship. The teachers there are very helpful, friendly but strict when necessary. They will help you with explaining school materials so you can have time to participate in events like student catering, playing sports, and getting an internship with local restaurants, cafeterias, and bakeries. For whose interested in getting ahead start on their career path, this school really does give you the chance to demonstrate how serious you are. Even if you go to this school but aren't interested in food at all, the teachers there are still fantastic by aiding you with college prep/applications, showing empathy of home life, peers, life, and classwork. Also, giving opportunities to pass your classes depending on how much effort you put into studying."
