"Highlands high school is a good school for the most part Just like any other school it has its ups and downs. In the future I would like to see that this school is tougher on their students about the rules & procedures & that the teachers actually start finding better ways to teach."

"The previous principle at this school was horrible, there was a bullying problem and he had done nothing about it, the students were everywhere; crazy and out of control, the teachers tried to care but really did not only trying to follow the rules instead of teaching the lessons, GearUp the program at the school was very good at helping students find a path to college. Now i have heard the new principle has changed the ways around the school and is improving."

"At Highlands High School you get a great education and the teachers really encourage their students to get involved with school activities. The teachers also help you get started with college. There are also a lot of clubs you can join like Band which I have been in for 3 years and it is very fun and is something to pass you're time and encourages students to keep their grades up."

"My opinion on Highlands High School is that it is a hard-working environment. The students are very cooperative when it comes to a lot of organizations. The teachers are very willing to help you improve if needed. They offer after school and before school tutoring, even during your lunch period if it is alright with your teacher. The administration staff is always getting everyone to class on time every class period. Academically, the school could use some improvement with the state testing results. Regarding athletics, the athletes are very dedicated to the sport they are in. The coaches push them to do their absolute best and make sure they get all their school work done to receive very good grades."
