"The International School of the America really prepares you for college if you aren't going into a STEM field. The environment is great and the teachers are amazing. When I transferred in my sophomore year of high school I enjoyed how welcoming it was. However, now that I'm pursuing a STEM major, I feel at a disadvantage compared to a lot of people in linear algebra or other math/science classes ."

"My experience at the International School of the Americas, has been a once in a lifetime both educationally and personally. The close teacher and student relationship and educational travels (Heifer, New Mexico, Alabama and D.C) is what makes this school unique. With challenging curriculum, learning how to become a global citizen, and a class size of 120 students, ISA has made a huge impact on my life ."

"Throughout my time at this school, I have learned how to properly become a better global citizen. I have been taught the necessary habits and character traits I lacked upon entry into this school that I am positive will positively impact my life as I depart this school after the coming year. The teachers are able to work with students in a proactive and successful way that sparks change and leaves the student with the confidence to be able to handle the next problem they're faced with independently. I can't imagine how my life would be if I weren't at this school and it is one of the many reasons that I am confident I will be successful in life and in my future."

"The International School of the Americas is a global learning based high school in the North East Independent School District. ISA is a open community and the school includes international studies in every classroom. This recognition of perspectives allows students to gain a more tolerant and well rounded education. The student teacher relationships are solid which helps with student success. The school focuses on shaping students into innovative, creative, and global learners."

"The thing that Ioved about ISA is the way is connects a community together, and cultivates learning by forcing students to engage in collaboratively discussions about real life events. From our freshmen "Make a Difference" fair, to our senior "SA2020" community project, I've become a better global citizen by understanding perspectives, and using them in my everyday life to make decisions."
