"Hoover High is a diverse school that gives many opportunities to its students. It provides tutoring, counseling, and great classes to learn from. However, the campus itself is pretty bland since it mostly has pale or white colors to it. The student life is involved but only for football games and homecoming. The staff are nice but can be rude to students at times. Student involvement could also improve since many of the events that hoover hosts mostly go unnoticed."

"This school has policies that can be fix by one simple answer. For example the tardy policy; This policy includes students being held back and extra 15 minutes from class in the morning when tardy. This can be fixed simply by stating in a later time such as 8:00 or 8:10. School originally starts at 7:25 and when they expect a teenager who has little desire to be there, waking up early to make in time just isn't something that can't be done."

"Hoover High School is a very diverse school due to it being located in City Heights. I love how we are all different, we're all from different backgrounds and seem to get along with eachother. What I would like to see changed about my school is having a better relationship between the students and administration. I believe building a relationship between those who work here and us students is a very important thing, being able to count on and trust them."

"I am currently attending Hoover High School as a sophomore and so far, my experience has been substantial! Initially, I wasn't sure whether or not I should attend my school, but I soon learned that it offers so much for me. I am a member of many amazing clubs and have made many friends. One thing I would change is stopping the budget cuts. There are spectacular teachers at my school that have the risk of getting laid off."

"I was a member of the health academy at Hoover High school. Teachers are great-- I am very thankful for their support and advice. Thanks to Hoover HS, I am able to graduate early and attend a 4-year college this fall."
