"The school overall is excellent. I gave certain categories fewer stars because of the problems that arise from being a tiny private school in a city full of tiny private schools. The school has very few funds, which mostly go to paying the administration. Enrollment is low, and unqualified teachers are occasionally hired. The students sometimes feel that their requests, such as senior priveledges and a photography class, are completely ignored. However, all that being said, the teaching and the academics are incredible. The teachers really care about the students and want them to succeed. The curriculum is demanding but rewarding, and A LOT of emphasis is placed on getting every student into the college of their choice. I recommend Waldorf to anyone looking for an academically rigorous, but also arts-filled and active, high school experience."

"I think that going to a Waldorf school 1st-8th is amazing, but when you get into high school you want to be around more people, and with a small school that's hard. Also we have to do eurythmy in high school... which is gross."

"Most of the teachers are great, however some of them don't go with the flow, are unorganized, and get don't listen to what the students want."

"I love the curriculum at my school. Having a small class with people of many interests was a bit difficult, but I would not change it at all. My class of twelve grew to be a family. No matter how annoyed we get with each other, we understand each other better than anyone. For a student interested in the arts and serious about academics, Waldorf provided me with the ability to bridge my creativity with my serious academics. I really appreciated the writing program, which has behooved me very much. I would certainly go again."
