"I loved the teachers at this school because their teaching methods helped me understand the difficult subjects."

"I've been at white plains high school for 4 year and have enjoyed every second of it. The faculty really care about the students well-being. There's a place for everyone because of the amount of clubs there are. Love this high school!"

"Bad place run by a corrupt principal who conceals violence, cheating, and even that bomb threat and urine-filled water balloon cafeteria fight. Bad reputation with principal and so-called board of education members (tiny fish in a tiny bowl who think they are "movers and shakers" LOL) writing the bogus positive reviews. Going to WCC (takes anyone even without a sixth grade education) and lowly state schools from NY to MD, is the norm. For "first generationers" they go elsewhere, but give 'em a half a year at a good school and they won't last--just won't fit in. This review is completely accurate and candid. The principal's favorite class is mealtime."

"Dangerous, badly managed place with a principal that ignores and/or grossly and inappropriately minimizes and lies about violent acts (and more) in her school. She very much wants to keep things quiet, such as when one of her students made a bomb threat. That severe incident, that should have expelled that student and put him in jail, she/the school very much needed to be hushed for political reasons. The student resource officers "SRO" are a complete joke--and dumb, by the way. They do as little as humanly possible (it is their mentality.) Cannot say too much about the student body, including a great deal of cheating and plagiarism. No wonder the supposedly "excellent/honors" students were rejected from every good school--they cheated which was no surprise."

"I wouldn't be who I am without WPHS. I started my organization there; they were flexible with my schedule so that I could intern at the United Nations; they allowed me to start dancing - I owe a lot of who I am to them. And I still go back to visit at least twice a year! The teachers are incredibly supportive and basically family to me, still. Not to mention the diverse environment and challenging courses really prepared me for the real world more than what I have heard from other college students about their high school experiences."
