"Woodlands was a great school I enjoyed it very much. My school offered so many opportunities such as Boces which allowed me to get my cosmotology license straight out of highschool and clubs such as key club , great potential , national honors society , fencing , gardening club and drama club whiched helped not only me but my friends really contribute our time in ways we can benefit our school and community while enjoying the experience. Working through all these clubs never felt like a chore it was always just enjoyable even if we are picking trash off the ground , working in the soup kitchen , or even spending our summers mentoring children with special needs."

"This school needs major improvement. The building is in a terrible condition. There are windows that can't even close in some classrooms, paint chipping off the walls, and a permanent film of dust on the floors, no matter how many times a janitor is seen pushing a broom around. The food is somewhat edible, but over time you learn not to eat just about half of the stuff that is served. Faculty engagement with the students is OK, but some "monitors" take things a little too far."

"I entered Woodlands Senior High School in the middle of Sophomore year. Being an introvert on top of a new student I expected to feel uncomfortable the majority of the time. Surprisingly, I instantly felt as if I were in the school for years already, with everyone making an effort to make me feel comfortable. The students were far more outgoing than any other people previously made interactions with which build a strong foundation of trust and security. At Woodlands they have a wide range of classes and are very flexible when making schedules that are beneficial to the students needs and wants. I have been exposed to various opportunities, encountered the most authentic people, became knowledgeable on things that interest me, and I realize that I would have never been able to receive that elsewhere."
