"RHS is what you make of it. To me, the biggest problems lay within the personality types found on this school. The academic rigor and college preparedness are unparalleled, in my opinion, and have only become more impressive throughout the years. However, there are many teachers and administrative staff that do not aid the students like they need. Administration had issues with my transcript when I transferred from a different school-- and I am not the only one, even students who spent all four years at the High School were hurt by the administration not caring enough about the small details. Many teachers are excellent, but there are some that genuinely do not care about all their students and would rather develop friendships than teach and mentor. As a predominantly white town, certain attitudes arise, and there is absolutely no diversity. I don't regret or mourn my time here, but I certainly would never do it again."

"Very competitive school. Snobby rich kids that do a lot of cyberbullying. Most of the teachers and guidance counselors don't care about anything but your grade point average. Terrible school for people with mental health issues such as anxiety and depression."

"A very affluent community with students who take their situations for granted. The typical cliques you would expect to find at a high school. The sports teams are small but well funded. The breakfast grill and lunch options are on point. There are police officers patrolling the parking lots so cutting class is nearly impossible and the drug dogs come through to survey the lockers. As for the academics the school is very good, most students go on to pursue higher education and the staff is helpful in that aspect. These kids love to party though, every year there are a few that pass away from drunk driving or drug incidences."

"My experience so far at Ridgefield high school honestly is not great. I love the academics and although it is extremely challenging, I feel as if I will be prepared. The sports teams are also great. But from that point on the school is filled with a bunch of Caucasian students with too much money who only care about their social status. It is very hard to meet a genuine person in this school who will treat you for equal. I am not into the arts or "weird" as one may say, but I can 100% state that this town is a bubble with kids who have too much money and will diminish anyone for themselves. Currently I am looking to transfer because I cannot take it anymore."
