"I feel like the school does not push my child. She easily makes straight A's and her test score has gone down since we moved here. The school system does not plan well. I get invited to events for me to attend 3 days before the event. I ask why such short notice and they say it's so parents won't forget to come. This school has a horrible system and what appears to me lazy people incharge. They are just there to collect a paycheck not make things better. The requirements to teach here are obviously very low. I don't think my child will be attending this school next year."

"As a member of Bridgeport High School, I was privileged to experience the close knit community and educational support provided by the teachers and staff. Throughout my high school career I was encouraged and pushed to reach my full potential. The individual attention I received from teachers was what I valued most from my time spent at Bridgeport High School. As far as improvement and change is concerned at Bridgeport High School, I would like to see more emphasis on school spirit. The students of Bridgeport High are not enthusiastic about attending Bridgeport, and they are not proud of their school. I believe that if the teachers and faculty encouraged students spirit rather than discouraged it, Bridgeport's school attendance, sport success, and test grades would drastically improve."

"BHS had a great atmosphere and the students were very kind and including. I moved to this school in my junior year and truly had an amazing time. The teachers really care about the students and truly want to see them succeed. The school is rather embedded in their sports teams though."

"All of the teachers are very involved and care about the students' well-being and understanding of subjects. The curriculum is typically very easy to follow. The workload is easy in average classes and heavier in AP classes. Tutoring is available before and after school, along with a 30 minute break during school. Most teachers are also willing to help during a weekend or break."

"We have an about half white/ half hispanic diversity with a few black students. Most students are accepting of any sexual orientation. Peer pressure is easy to avoid if the friends have the same beliefs, which is relatively easy to find. Students are fairly involved in clubs and organizations and very involved in sports/ sporting events."
