"I liked the diversity and some teachers, also the difference in memorizing a topic than actually knowing it. I would fire some teachers who mostly care about the behavior than how well we grasp a subject, I'd add locks to the bathrooms, I'd make sure behavior was better as many people run and push others to the ground in the halls."

"Overall there will be classes of all types for you to take and most teachers are great.Your workload is based on what you want and there is no pressure to take anything that you don't want to. Studying is something that you will have to figure out on your own for the most part. Teachers will give recommendations on how to study, but never make you apply them. To be quite honest, the academics of Clements High School match or are similar to those of Colleges. Many alumni have said that their freshman year of college was less challenging than Clements, as that is how much the school prepares you. All of the teachers are very knowledgeable on the subjects and it is up to the student to take their class (out of core class requirements)."

"My experience at Clements High School has been an exciting rollercoaster ride. There have been times where my academics aren't as great as I would like for them to be, but there is always the opportunity to redeem yourself by working with your teachers. The student body is very competitive, especially the higher you want to get in terms of rank, but we're still friends at the end of the day. One thing I have noticed, it is that when it comes to friends, the school is divided into 2 types of people. There are the type of students who have great friends who love meeting with one another, but also don't meet up too often because of school (tests, quizzes, studying, etc) - who tend to be the students in all honors courses and tend to overwhelm themselves with too many rigorous courses. And the second type of students is those who are more relaxed on their course load and who can meet more often and have great friendships with their friends at various school events and meet out of school. It mostly comes down to a split in those who take all honors versus those who take mostly regular/standard level courses. I personally have dabbled in both sides and have not let that barrier stop me from enjoying myself at Clements, as there will always be something for you to do. Something unique to Clements is the level of spirit and pride that our school has in itself. We have spirit days where the entire school partakes in a celebration of the spirit day. For example, for the spirit day of character day, everyone would dress up as a character, or for pink out day, a majority of students wear pink (and those who don't tend to stand out, which motivates them to help out and be a part of the cause). It isn't uncommon to feel like you have a second family within the organizations that you participate in as everyone cares for one another. Without a doubt, Clements is my home away from home, as I know that I can count on it no matter what."

"The Teacher body, in general, is friendly and very supportive of their students. I have not met or heard of a teacher who was unavailable to help a student who seeks their aid. Most teachers are very friendly and in fact, are some of my own good friends. Students can easily relate to the teachers and enjoy conversing with them. An overwhelming majority of teachers are very intelligible and have expertise in the classes they teach. Teachers also keep into account trying to make students ready for college by upholding responsibility in the classroom, have it by incorporating it into a grade, or simply motivating it with friendly language."
