    "Hays High School is a great school. Academics, sports, band, dance, and other programs are all great and get equal glory. The teachers are good but there has been some that aren't very open to helping students understand the material in another way,"

    "Hays High School has given me many great opportunities and has taught me a lot throughout my time here. It has some exceptional teachers that truly care about their students, while it also has teachers who aren't as qualified and don't care as much as they should. The administration is also very rigid in that they won't change their ways even if the majority of students and staff think a change is what's best."

    "My personal experience at Jack C. Hays High School was overall good. When I attended I liked how there were many clubs and opportunities for students to be involved and be a part of something. I truly appreciated the personal relationships students get with teachers. I know a lot of people that benefited from how much the teachers cared about the students and wanted to see them succeed. One thing I didn't like as much was the food. As simple as it sounds I feel that the food could have been better quality and healthier. Another problem I noticed is it felt that star athletes got special treatment. Although that seems to be an expectation in many high schools, I wasn't very fair to all students. My experience in high school wasn't perfect, but no one s is. Although Jack C. Hays High School could use improvements, it is obvious that the district puts in effort and makes changes when they can."

    "Teachers were great in general, especially the pre-AP and AP teachers. Never really talked to the principal etc.. overall nice school, pretty clean. Students are alright, of course there will always be those ones that are super irritating. Everyone also loves football there"
