"Mount Eden is OK. One thing that is great in that school is the art classes. The art classes provides so many student to engage another part of their brains they don't get to use in other classes and lets them create what their imagination desires. I absolutely loved My art classes with Mr. Landrieu and Ms. Butler, they are caring and nice teachers. Half of the teachers there actual care about the students and the other half could care less. The cafeteria food is garbage and questionable except for the salads (only heathy food they offer)."

"Mt. Eden High School was great high school except for their counselors. The counselors were awful and were of no help and made the high experience way harder than it should have been."

"Mt. Eden High School is a great high school according to the city that I live in. What I like about Mt. Eden high is that they have good AP courses, if not many, and they have good teachers to teach them and the ambiance of those classes is also college focused. Most of the AP teachers at my school teach the material very well and over the years, I think a lot of our AP scores have been good for most of the AP exams. What I do not like about the school is the counselors. When it is time to apply to college for seniors and also when acception letters come in, many students start looking at their financial packages and start to look for scholarships. The counselors at my school do not really help us look for scholarships or provide us with that many resources where we can get the help we need."

"My experience at Mt. Eden high school has been fairly pleasant. From my freshman year to my senior year I've seen a big difference with how this school is treated. The principal and other AP's really do keep us on track to graduate and enforce that "tough love". The teachers I've had the past couple of years have really taught me a lot more than the subject they teach, they teach you and prepare you for life outside of high school which is really important. When it comes to school programs I appreciate how much involvement there is from our staff in every single program, from choir performances to basketball games, there is always teachers and assistant principles supporting. Although teachers and other workers at our school want the best for us, I wish the district would do the same. Our school isn't at its best conditions and students and teachers have learned to work around it, but I wish we got newer facilities in our school to improve the work ethic."

"Some teachers have been cool. But this year, our chemistry class had a sub for 4 months and they didn't teach us much. Also, the food isn't the best. But, the school is improving by having a proper track around the football field being built, which is much better than the dirt one there was before, which sucked when it was windy."
