"MHHS faculty care about students and put their best foots forward to help us succeed. The classes offered are fairly diverse, and the opportunities for AP classes, independent study, faculty assistance, and work trades prepare you for what interests every student. The current administration is awful, and the 2016/2017 high school principal implemented unnecessary and unruly changes, but he shouldn't last long enough to tear down what MHHS has built."

"Mount Horeb high school is not an awful place to send your child, but it could use some improvements. I personally felt that I wasn't very prepared for college; they offer classes that are supposed to help you get ready for that new adventure/step in your life, but don't do a very good job of actually getting that information across. They also enhance a "no bullying" policy that is enforced throughout all schools. This area would be one of the top that is the worst. Kids got bullied all the time, while teachers or administration was standing right there, and did nothing about it."

"Although Mount Horeb is a relatively small high school (170 in my graduating class), there are many opportunities for involvement in art and music. The overall atmosphere is very supportive; being a small school, we are a tight-knit community. The AP classes offered are limited, which is my main complaint about the school. Also, unlike many school districts, Mount Horeb students cannot begin taking AP classes until their junior year."

"I really enjoy my time at Mount Horeb High School. Overall, my teachers seem to care about our education, and they gives engaging lessons every day. There are tons of clubs, and the majority of kids here are a part of more than one club."
