"I really enjoyed the small class sizes. I also enjoyed being able to know everyone. My biggest problem however is the amount of homework you have to go home to. I spend minimal one to three hours a day attempting to do homework and that's not including actually finishing and completing all of the assigned work. The school definitely challenges you way further than any other school in the Waco area including Robinson and China Spring, and all the other schools that surround the Waco area. All in all, the process of getting through this school is difficult, however, I feel as if maybe it will pay off once I get into college."

"They provide free college courses and it's small."

"While Rapoport Academy Meyer High boasts academic excellence with challenging courses, a shocking majority of the teachers are inept. Teachers are often hired to teach subjects they did not major in, resulting in difficult and frustrating classes. The homework load is unnecessarily high. Students often receive homework over the holidays. Rapoport also claims to have opportunities as a college preparatory school, but students are unable to take the dual credit classes they want to take and instead are forced to take classes they are not interested in. The college councilor is unhelpful and rarely available. For being such a small school, it appears that help would be easy to receive. However, administrators and often teachers are unavailable to aid students."

"Our academics at Rapoport are very challenging to most students. Rapoport is the only school that I have ever been to that has pushed and challenged me academically. The teachers are all great and care about the students to say after to tutor them if they need it. The workload can be challenging but they are trying to prepare us for the workload colleges will give us."

"I really love this school. I have never really fit in anywhere else. I was too smart and nerdy for public school and did not fit into the groups, and I was not rich enough to afford to go to a private. This charter school changed my whole school experience. I truly believe that if I had not gone to this school, I would not be the person I am today. There are people that were in similar situations as me at this school and wanted a way out of the boredom of public school without paying the money for private. I really love the students and teachers. The only thing that is not up to par is the lunch food and the staff is working to make it better."
