"The staff at Walnut High School cares a lot about each and every single student on campus. They do their best to ensure that the students' go through a great experience and graduate with a lot of knowledge in the real world. They treat everyone fairly and equally. The grade level counselors seem like they are only concerned about the students' success in their life. I had a great experience and I don't believe anything stands out of place and really needs to change."

"I really enjoyed my time at Walnut High School. Most of my teachers were AMAZING and I still have contact with them now. A few of the older teachers did not care much for the students and that was one thing that irritated me. But it's an awesome campus and a great place for an awesome education. WHS prepared me for college and my current peers did not have this kind of preparation so I was at an advantage."

"I liked that Walnut HS encourages its students to be well-rounded. It is academically competitive, but not to an extreme. I love how the school has so much to offer, such as the IB (International Baccalaureate) program, ADP (Academic Design Program), etc. In addition, the teachers are truly interested in their students' lives and care for their students. However, I wish our GLCs (our counselors) were more involved with their students and had an assembly where they informed the students about college and how to prepare for it (I did not find out about the SAT Subject Tests until late into my sophomore year through a classmate)."

"Walnut has given me so many opportunities to succeed and improve my weaknesses throughout my 4 years here. The teachers truly care and individualize their way of teaching when I do not understand the material. They take out time from their life and are readily available to make sure that the students understand the material and to answer the questions we have. I have been able to further my knowledge through their programs and clubs."

"Walnut High School excels in preparing its students for success. Not only does it encourage taking difficult classes in preparation for college, but even basic level classes are at a much higher level than many other advanced courses in other high schools. The faculty are dedicated to the security and academic integrity of the students' education and the counselors are committed to their jobs."
