"Chase is changing... seldom for the better but rather generally for the worse. The administration has made great strides recently in improving food (a huge complaint previously that has been turned into a huge asset from what I've heard ). Enrollment is an issue though with incoming classes becoming smaller each year. Advertising clearly doesn't work. The campus is small and some areas are lacking (look at gym and arts center) and the maintence could be improved. Academics are rigerous however with some stellar teachers. Layoffs and staffing shifts have been complaints by students, that the best staff are being replaced with worse replacements to save money. As I look back at my graduation a year ago, regardless of the negatives, I do feel I am a confident individual ready for the world beyond me."

"This school was wonderful for my daughter. She was welcomed into the Upper School by the students and the teachers were magnificent. She was able to take courses that she was interested in and the teachers treat all the students as their own. I wish we had moved her to Chase earlier so she could have had this experience for more than simply Upper School. I encourage you all to go and see the school and all the great things happening there in the past few years."

"Chase is a very nice school and the teachers are very smart, kind people. But the school charges way too much. Chase is more expensive than most colleges. They have no business doing that. Because of this, they have to bring in exchange students, who are only from China. There is very little diversity and there are very few clubs and electives. The head of the school, Polly Peterson, does not connect at all with any of the children. Since it is such a small school, people are required to do a sport 2 out of the 3 seasons. This proves to be detrimental on the sports because there are many kids who don't have an athletic bone in their body but are forced to play a sport. But the teachers prove themselves by really reaching out to help kids and there is a very strong student-teacher relationship with many of the faculty and children."

"I was lucky enough to attend Chase for 13 years, and I loved every moment of it! Though as an alumni, I would like to see the school bring in more students to help strengthen our athletics program!"

"Great little school. Everyone knows each other and there is a great sense of community. Students can interact with older and younger kids in classes and sports. Teachers make an effort to know your child as an individual. We love the emphasis on public speaking as it is a real-world skill."
