"This school really prepared me to become college and hopefully career ready. I had privilege to have outside classroom setting such as animal science and auto shop. I enjoyed these classes cause this is something I don't do everyday like take care of goats or learn how to change a tire! Overall my experience was amazing I do recommend this school to everyone."

"North Hollywood houses many programs which includes Zoo Magnet, Highly Gifted Magnet, SAS(honors), and Home Engineering. Your high school experience will vary on which program you are in. The top academic programs are hands down the Zoo Magnet and Highly gifted magnet. Zoo focuses on science based classes, including animal studies. They are located across the parking lot of the Los Angeles Zoo but students are shuttled to the main campus. Academics are the strongest in the valley but their athletics have left much to be desired. They are mediocre with the exception of girls basketball, tennis, and track and field. Overall, its a pretty decent high school to attend."

"Honestly, the best four years of my life. I was in the music program who has an amazing band director. I was as well on the Academic Decathlon team which was a great experience. About 95% of the teachers and faculty are friendly and are willing to help their students. The student body is very diverse with students from different backgrounds and ethnicity. There are several clubs and teams to be apart of. I was in the marching band, jazz band, symphony orchestra, and Academic Decathlon. The campus is clean the majority of the time. There are several places to go out and eat for lunch."

"The school is very good with college readiness, offering several programs that help a lot. The problem is with the cleanliness of the campus; it does not look the best."
