"I believe that ELCO is a very good high school. But they don't do a very great job with preparing students for college, or at the very least convince them to care and visit the college office. Their faculty is fine, with some teachers being exceptional in their work and other teachers being poor quality. It is the school's job to help cultivate and grow a student to be the best they can be. If they had more teachers that are dedicated to their work and care about the students, with more programs to convince students to go out and volunteer or do work, the school can become a better learning environment. I still believe ELCO to be an excellent school that overall cares about their students. They have programs and clubs to help students become better people and find harmony inside themselves. Allowing students to go to another student to talk their heart out if they need it. This school, for the most part, cares about their students."

"I love having a big campus and making it feel smaller by getting involved in clubs and different programs available to me. The teachers (for the most part) are exceptional and make me feel prepared for college. The people at this school are welcoming and inviting. I feel super safe on campus."

"This school has a vibrant student population, but does have some structural issues in terms of administration and money management. The only reason the school isn't doing better is because it chooses to help underprivileged students with its funds rather than focus only on academic programs (an admirable feat in itself)."

"El Camino Real was an excellent high school. They had excellent instructors that created amazing learning environments. The school facilities are slightly outdated but are being updated slowly. Compared to the other high schools in the San Fernando Valley, El Camino is the elite."

"El Camino has a rigorous academic program that really prepares students for college. The teachers are willing to help students. It is a large high school so the students do need to motivate and ask for help. There are many clubs available for students to join."
