"What I loved most about Elkins High School was the fact that it was so small. I loved being involved in all activities and groups that I could while also knowing practically everyone you passed in the hall. Although, I would love to see more parent involvement and more way to help prepare the students for college."

"As a freshman, we were the new kids at Elkins High School. It had finally been built, and our class was the first to experience four years within the building. For that, I definitely think we're a memorable group. I've experienced many teachers who knew exactly what they were teaching, while others had the same mindset as their students; "When will the day end?" Besides being poorly taught, Elkins had a few extracurriculars to offer that I was proud to be a part of: Marching band, the junior class play, prom, choir, and much more. Unfortunately, the school mainly focused on their sports programs. Instead of having money spent on a new gym, or baseball field, I'm sure many would've appreciated if choir had their own room, or if band had new uniforms. If one thing were to change, I would hope the school would spend their money wisely and fairly. All-in-all, I made many fantastic memories throughout my high school experience and was able to gain many lifelong friends in the process."

"I went to Elkins High School all 4 years. In those 4 years at the small town school, I had seen a lot of things I loved and several things I'd like to see change in the future. One of the things I loved about attending this school is that all of the teachers are extremely friendly and take time to know their students, and if students ever need help or have any questions the teachers are always ready to answer any need. I also liked the small school atmosphere, and growing up with life long friends. The things I'd change are the limited amount of clubs and classes the school offers. There are not a lot of options, especially options related to being college ready. Overall, my high school experience at Elkins High School was very pleasant."

"There are always things that need improvement. I think our faculty is adequate but we aren't able to retain the highest quality and of staff because of budget."
