Nick Bailey

Nick Bailey was appointed president and chief executive officer for Century 21 Real Estate LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Realogy Holdings Corp. (NYSE: RLGY) in August 2017. In his role, Bailey leads the iconic C21® brand and the organization’s approximately 8,000 independently owned and operated offices and more than 118,000 independent sales professionals in 80 countries and territories worldwide.

Bailey has over 21 years of industry experience as a licensed broker, and opened a real estate brokerage where he actively listed and sold properties. He is a leader in franchising, brokerage, management, and technology, and is known as a trailblazing revenue-generating operator who increases margins while mitigating the impact of economic change.

Prior to his current post, Bailey served as Vice President, Broker Relations for the Zillow® Group, helping build the company’s strategic partners and relationships throughout the U.S. He helped drive the expansion of products and services and partnerships and the broadening of brand awareness across the real estate industry. Before that, he spent nearly 12 years at RE/MAX® world headquarters as vice president where he led the growth and development for numerous regional operations throughout the U.S.

Bailey started his real estate career at 17 when he began purchasing commercial and residential property and was awarded Entrepreneur of the Year from the Powell Valley Chamber of Commerce. He earned the moniker as the “go-to” resource for market and regional turnarounds and franchise startups after successfully building and managing diverse teams, developing hundreds of multi-site franchises and jumpstarting best practice initiatives.

Bailey earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Montana State University. He is a Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager, Accredited Buyer Representative and Certified Distressed Property Expert.

Cara Whitley

Chief Marketing Officer

Century 21 Real Estate LLC

Cara Whitley was named global chief marketing officer of Century 21 Real Estate LLC on September 21, 2015. In her role, Whitley leads the marketing, advertising and digital media efforts for the world’s largest real estate franchise organization of approximately 8,000 independently owned and operated offices and more than 118,000 independent sales professionals in 80 countries and territories worldwide. Whitley, a 20-year veteran of loyalty marketing, business development, strategy and change management, reports directly to Nick Bailey, President and Chief Executive Officer. 
 
Whitley comes to the brand with extensive experience in leading marketing teams in a global and multi-cultural environment. She is a highly-accomplished marketing executive with an extensive background in:
 
Consumer-based marketing
Franchise systems and marketing funds
Digital and social media platforms
Advertising and promotions
Brand management
Customer relationship management
Partnership development, training, and analytical modelling and,
Market segmentation strategy.
 
Whitley joins CENTURY 21 after serving as chief marketing officer of Squaw Valley Ski Holdings/KSL Capital Partners in Lake Tahoe (CA), a position she held since October 2013. While there, Whitley led the integration of two brands to form a unified value proposition including their digital strategy and brand promise. 
 
Previously, she served as a vice president for some of the world’s largest multinational corporations including American Express, Epsilon and Hilton Hotels Corporation.   As Vice President, Business Development and Strategy, Global Loyalty for American Express, Cara was a key member of the strategic team behind the Plenti program, a marketing platform designed to transform the U.S. loyalty landscape in conjunction with key strategic partners. 
 
For Hilton Hotels Corporation, Whitley served as Vice President, Customer Loyalty, Global Partnerships and International Marketing where she influenced decisions on distribution, third party relationships, their loyalty program, and corporate strategies. She served on the International Operations Committee and played an integral role in the development of new markets and customer acquisition.  Additionally, she was responsible for developing the marketing strategy for all regions (international and outbound US).
 
Whitley earned her B.S. degree in Communications from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. She is an avid skier, runner and hiker, and enjoys cooking, golf and yoga.
 

Mike Miedler

Chief Growth Officer

Century 21 Real Estate LLC

Mike Miedler was named global chief growth officer of Century 21 Real Estate LLC on March 11, 2018. In his role, Miedler leads the Franchise Sales team, where he will focus on capturing share in emerging and diverse markets. He will also be responsible for enhancing and implementing the C21® Recruiting Platform.

Prior to his current position, Miedler served as Senior Vice President with Century 21 Real Estate LLC, focusing on brand development and market share strategy in the U.S. He advised new and existing real estate businesses on growth strategies, business planning and structuring transactions with an emphasis on growth for CENTURY 21® affiliates through development of market share and top- and bottom-line revenue.

As part of a global brand, Miedler understands the important role the international markets play in expanding U.S. businesses. He is a member of NAHREP, the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals and AREAA, the Asian Real Estate Association of America.

Prior to his tenure at Century 21 Real Estate LLC, Miedler was managing director for ONCOR International, one of the world’s largest commercial real estate networks where he facilitated commercial real estate transactions across the U.S. and around the globe. Prior to ONCOR International, he served in various roles across the Cendant/Realogy brands for 20-years.

Miedler has served as a volunteer to the Junior Achievement program in New Jersey, and as an executive sponsor of the Realogy NextGen employee resource group. He is a graduate of West Chester University of Pennsylvania, with a bachelor’s degree in Applied Science, Criminal Justice and Accounting.
