Born and raised in Estonia, (former republic of Soviet Union) Katya moved to the United States at the age of 22 and became a proud US citizen a few years later. After a very fulfilling 15-year hotel management career at several different properties in Tampa, with her last positions being Hotel General Manager and Corporate Director of Sales, Katya decided to follow her long time passion for real estate.
Katya fell in love with Tampa and its great mix of culture, arts, entertainment, sports and attractions. She has personally purchased two homes since making Tampa her home. She realized that she knew very little about the complex process of home buying even though she was making what may ultimately be the biggest purchases of her life.
It was during this time that she decided to become educated about real estate investing and took it even further by becoming a Licensed FL Realtor. Katya joined the exceptional team at CENTURY 21 Beggins Enterprises led by Real Estate Broker Craig Beggins. Sharing Craig's passion about doing things the right way from the start, Katya is very excited to achieve her goal in making the buying and/or selling process for her clients as seamless, enjoyable and effortless as possible.

Buyer reviewKatya was incredibly detailed in explaining and walking me, a first-time home buyer, through the entire process. She was very patient, never once putting pressure on me to buy a specific home and never hurrying me to buy. Even with the current insane market situation, she always made sure the homes she showed were within my needs (location, backyard size, etc.) I learned a lot from Katya about things to look for when considering a home, things that I was completely oblivious to. For example, discoloration or small cracks in walls, slightly uneven floors, and too much of an incline in a backyard that would cause issues when it rained. I was a bit nervous about buying a home, but Katya quickly put me at ease with her pleasant disposition, honesty, and experience. I honestly couldn't imagine using another realtor.

Seller reviewThe decision to sell my home after 13 years was not an easy one. And when I met with Jekaterina for the first time to even consider it, she put me at ease immediately. I found that she was knowledgable about the Tampa area, about the market conditions and very up front about what she was able to support me in the sales process. What I loved most was that I felt heard and understood. Jekaterina took her time to explain everything I was to expect and she asked a lot of great questions along the way that allowed me to know that I had the final say. The listing, the house showing, open house, staging, photos - every aspect of this process was simple, seamless and most importantly non-invasive. Seller reviewSelling a home can be so intimidating. Especially if you have never had tge experience. I reached out to a realestate agent friend for advice. I told him my concerns and that i was so uncomfortbale going through with this and that i could only see it through with an expert. Someone who I knew has experience with situatiins like mine, an older modeled inherited home. Jekaterina was given my info by my friend and I was given a phone call within 48 hours. In ALL of our phone conversatjons and face to face meetings she was so professional, thorough with info and swift with goaks and deadlines that it was like a dream. She shut down every real estate horror story I had ever heard. This was so comforting. If you're reading this you can place all bets on this agent Jekaterina Sljusar! A stranger turned guardian angel for me. It just doesn't get any better.
