Matt has been a Realtor since 2012 and has been involved in the real estate industry for over 15 years. He currently serves the Greater Sandusky and Lake Erie coast of Ohio. You may be familiar with Matt, as prior to licensing in Ohio, Matt served as a Realtor in Kodiak, Alaska where he appeared on multiple episodes of the HGTV hit show "Living Alaska". Prior to his career as a Realtor, Matt served in the United States Coast Guard and retired as a Chief Warrant Officer (Naval Engineer). During his service, Matt was responsible for military contracts exceeding 100 million dollars, the engineering plants, and personnel on multiple naval vessels. Buyer reviewMatt focus's his work in the area that we knew we wanted to find a property in. He also publishes daily emails of current/new listings in said area making it easier to stay on top of new opportunities. That said, waterfront/properties with boat docks in the area that we wanted to find a weekend escape home/condo are basically non-existent. Most sell before even hitting the market. After talking/texting with Matt for a couple of months, Matt got to know our likes and dislikes for the different areas. He recalled a conversation, from a year ago, with an owner who said he may interested in selling his condo down the road. He sent prior info on it to us. As soon as we said yes this fit our many criteria, he quickly reached out. The owner was receptive and Matt immediately arranged for a showing. The offer and agreement was put together very timely and he continued to follow through in real time all the way to closing. All of this happened so quickly and worked out wonderfully. What more could you ask for when working with your realtor! We are forever grateful to Matt as he found us the most wonderful condo (best unit in the building) and it wasn't even on the market.
