My husband and I have been vacationing on Oak Island for over 30 years. We purchased a second home on Oak Island with the intention of retiring here. Every time we would come for a few days and then have to prepare to leave, it would get harder and harder to leave. After a few months, we decided to make Oak Island our permanent home.
After working in Corporate America for 30 years, I decided it was also time to start a new career. This played into the decision to move to Oak Island permanently as well. When considering what I would do for my second career, I knew that I definitely wanted to immerse myself in something that would allow me to help people. I love people and enjoy being able to be part of making someone happy. Those desires lead me to Real Estate.
I will always provide excellent customer service to my clients and make them my number one priority. I am very organized and detail oriented. I will always provide timely, honest information to my buyers and sellers. It has been some time since we purchased property and the process has changed quite a bit as a result of the market crash of 2008. Also, NC has some requirements that were new to us, such as due diligence, and she explained the NC requirements very clearly. Honestly, if we had any questions about what we were doing, we'd ask Michelle what she thought. She is very easy to talk to.
