"A comfortable house is a great source happiness. It ranks immediately after health and a good conscience." That quote by Sydney Smith was a favorite of mine long before I entered the real estate industry. It simply expressed the way I wanted to feel about my own home. My goal is to provide comfort and happiness on all levels of the transaction with which I'm involved. Real estate became a career after over 20 years in office administration. I love if for the satisfaction it bring to not only help people, but to allow a flexible schedule so I can pursue my family and volunteer interests.
As part of a national franchise, I can offer my sellers a unique reporting system that show them not only what websites potential buyers are searching on, but also whether they are local or out of town. We also feature our homes through additional advertising on a large variety of websites (electronic searches have become the preferred method for home buyers to search).
In this industry, education is important both for myself and for buyers. I've been involved in Home Buyer Work shops for 7 years to help first time buyers. I have an information packet that I provide to help folks understand the process of purchasing a home.
Every year, I try to show appreciation to my clients and customers. I hold a luncheon/movie for them. From time to time, I also send out items of interest on a wide range of subject that gives information on a wide variety of subject.
Real estate is a fascinating business. My fellow Realtors area a pleasure to know and work with. And everyone of my clients and customers are just the best.
Trisha Bush's passion for beautiful architecture, high-end properties, and lakefront living guided her drive to obtain her Georgia Real Estate License, but her love of the beach pushed her to obtain her Florida Real Estate License as well.
Trisha understands the importance of professional REALTOR guidance and trust when making major investment decisions and the challenges that can occur. Being born and raised in Cordele Ga., she appreciates her hometown and all that it offers and prides herself in not only knowing the local community's real estate needs, but also the surrounding counties as well. Going above and beyond for her clients is second nature to Trisha and dos not stop until she finds the perfect property to suit her Buyers' individual needs or finds the perfect buyer for her Sellers
She is married to Merchant Mariner, Jonathan Bush and they have 2 sons. Will their oldest is a Sgt. In the US Army stationed in Texas, who is married to Brooke and they have 2 boys, Aiden (5 and Cameron (3). Tristen, their youngest son graduated college at UTI in Orlando, and currently resides in Destin, FL where he is employed in the motorcycle mechanics industry.
Trisha is actively involved in her community and is a member of the Cordele Crisp Community League, Crisp - County Chamber of Commerce, where she serves as an Ambassador for the Chamber, Dooly County Chamber of Commerce, and The Big Pig Jig Committee where she serves on the Entertainment Board.

I graduated from Crisp County High School in Cordele, GA. My college degrees were earned at Abraham Baldwin College and at the University of Georgia.
I entered the real estate profession as a second career, becoming licensed in 2001. Earlier, I had worked in the banking profession for over 20 years, with positions in loan origination, branch management, and internal auditing.
Working as a real estate agent has given me the great opportunity to enjoy a long-held passion of mine; that is, homes and the personal connections that come with the searches, sales, and purchases of them. I strive constantly to excel in both public relations and human resources as they relate to my work.
Professionally, I'm excited about my new responsibilities as President-elect of the Crisp Area Board of Realtors and grateful for both my status as the 2010 Top Producer for Smith, Branch, & Pope, L.L.C.'s Cordele/Lake Blackshear Office and new membership in the Million Dollar Club. Aware of the vibrancy of technology in the real estate profession, I have recently gained the National Association of Realtor's Technology certification, designated as E-Pro. I've found that membership in the Georgia Association of Realtors also provides opportunities for continuing education and professional networking. Reacting to the economically driven volatilities in the housing market, I have actively gained as much recent experience as possible in handling distressed and foreclosure assets.
When not working with or for my clients, I have some community and civic involvements that are very rewarding to me. I'd like to mention my involvement in the following: Past President and current Board of Directors member of the Historic O'Neal Neighborhood Association; Board Member of the Gillespie-Seldin Rural Life Community Center; Chairman of the Gillespie-Seldin Rural Life Community Center Audit Committee; Board member of the Georgia Initiative for Community Housing; Founding Officer of Barnes & Thomas, Inc., an enterprise devoted to the preservation and restoration of historic homes in Cordele's O'Neal School Neighborhood; Volunteer for the SAM Shortline Railroad; frequent volunteer and constant promoter for community service organizations and events in Cordele; and Special Events Volunteer for the Georgia Historic Preservation Trust.
My hobbies are even real estate connected! I enjoy travelling around our country to historic homes, preservation sites, and historic home districts.
I live in the Lake Blackshear community but strive for a special focus on the in- town properties of Crisp, Dooly, Turner, Wilcox, and Sumter counties.
I would enjoy an opportunity to focus my passion for real estate on YOUR home purchase or sale needs.
