I was born in Thailand and traveled extensively with my family while my father served in the U.S. Air Force. When he retired, we settled in Grayson, Kentucky in 1979. My husband and I have lived in Ashland, Kentucky since 1989. We have one daughter and a long-haired Chihuahua that adopted us approximately five years ago. I love people. I love to garden. I am Debi Boggs, originally from southwest Arizona.
I married Ken Boggs, from Big White Oak, Greenup County, Kentucky while he was stationed in my hometown while he was in the United States Marine Corps. Several military bases and a job with the deparment of defense in Washington, D.C. later, we decided to bring our four children to Greenup, Kentucky to give them some roots, nearby family, stability and some place to call "HOME". That was 1986, 30 years ago.
I was fortunate enough to be a mostly stay at home mom until the youngest child was in high school. One day the question "Now what do you do with the rest of your life?" just kept rising up. Naturally, the answer was a job. I had some "mom" skills but not any secondary education, so this was not going to be easy. Several jobs later, some college classes and great advice from an awesome Realtor by the name of John Browning , we landed in Real Estate. Ken and I both are Licensed Kentucky Realtors at Century 21 BWE.
Ken went to Century 21 BWE first and I followed in 2004. We started out as investors for ourselves mostly, but the first time that you help someone else make the "AMERICAN DREAM" of owning your own home come true, there is no feeling like it. Brooks Wells once told us, " that helping someone buy a home is a sacred trust. It is the largest financial decision that most people will ever make. If you make a mistake when assisting them, it can be devastating and ruin not only their life but their childrens too".
With that in mind, my goal/our goal is to:
#1. Aid buyers in purchasing the best possible home, for the best possible price, in the least amount of time, with as little stress as possible.
#2. Aid sellers in providing the most knowledge available to stage their home, to capture the attention and interest of potential buyers thru customized marketing of their home at the best possible price obtainable for their property. We will do that by obtaining the most education we can, staying up to date on current markets affecting our area, training in current technology to aid our clients, knowing the local financial market in our area, in short be as up to date as possible in the real estate world.
Customer service is a top priority for us as well, I believe that a person should treat others the way they would want to be treated, The Golden Rule. I believe the best way to serve people is to listen, listen, listen and then give them the best service possible once you understand what they want.
