Jim is a 35 year resident of Nevada County whose family moved here in 1968 when he was 8 years old. He attended school at Mt. St. Mary's and graduated from Nevada Union in 1978.At the age of 30 he opened Camper Connection, a successful truck accessories store that is still in operation today. When the business was sold in 1995, Jim began developing and building the 49'er Family Fun Park. A beautiful addition and attraction to Nevada County, the park opened in 1998 and has been enjoyed by thousands of tourists and residents alike.
