After the second floor addition a patio on the west side was added where we had drinks in the late afternoon with our friends. The stones laid give a special effect and to add privacy, cedar trees were planted. These trees are now more than 20 feet tall. Patio stones extend down to the back of the property where gorgeous dog woods bloom. Both the front and the back of the property are lighted and the lights in the pines are very inviting. The front porch floor was replaced with tiles to give a cleaner look. Inside decorative trim was added to the kitchen cupboards along with tumbled marble back splashes. At the back of the house a porch was added (about 10 x 14) with easy breeze windows that can be removed if desired. Entrance to the back porch is through a pair of French doors to give a special elegant opposite side of the living room. Later a custom walk in closet was added off the master bedroom (65 square feet) and includes its own mini chandelier. At the same time the master bathroom was completely updated including a hingless shower door and make up area. Each year special attention is given to the shrubs and bushes.
