My real estate career began in 1984 when the interest rates reached the upper teens. Few people could qualify to buy homes in those days and sales were rare. Many of my peers quit after a few months. Having invested several months studying for my real estate exam, I told myself to stick with it come rain or shine. 25 years later I am still in the business and cherish the memories of the many clients I have assisted in finding their dream homes. Some have become friends for life.
Besides my clients, I have learned to appreciate dozens of Realtors and peers. I joined Century 21 Hart in 1991 and enjoy being associated with the most recognized name in the real estate community around the world.
Independence has given me the freedom to travel back to Norway where I was born and visit my family and childhood friends several times. I am able to set my own schedule for work and play which is a big bonus. My three children also have the advantage of having a mom in real estate and are all enjoying home ownership in their young adult lives.

Many programs require that the buyers be certified to be eligible for these programs, with a Homebuyers Class. These programs include FHA, 203K, VA, Rural Development and grants and bonds offered for specific areas.
