Cathy Chester is the consummate professional. With more than 30 years in the real estate industry, she is knowledgeable, dedicated and has the ability to seamlessly navigate even the most complex transactions in any economic situation. She is focused on customer service and is extremely goal oriented, always attentive and available for her clients. In her words, "The best part of my job is satisfying the individual needs of my clients. Truly listening and offering them valid choices, helping them prioritize their needs. Then finally, seeing the smile on their face at closing and knowing I was a part of their newfound happiness."
Born and raised in New York City and now a resident of Boca Raton, real estate is in Cathy's blood. After graduating in the top third of her class at Fordham Law School in 1984 she opened an art gallery in the East Village while practicing real estate law as an associate in a small firm. Having been trained in contracts and closings she left the art world behind in 1989 and began her own law practice (while raising a family) and built it up to success, eventually becoming a named partner in Cole Hansen Chester LLP, a well respected real estate litigation firm in Manhattan. Over her 30 year legal career Cathy has handled well over a 1,000 closings, with the same care and professionalism paid to the multi-million dollar deals as to the small first time home buyers just starting out.
She has had great success, having successfully closed well over $100 million in properties in the high paced and often complicated New York City market. One of the highlights of her career was being one of the attorneys selected by the New York Surrogate's Court to assist families affected by the events of September 11th, an appointment that reflects her professionalism and regard.
Now working as a Sales Associate in Boca Raton, Cathy likes to think that her sellers and buyers have a unique advantage with her 30 years in real estate and law. "Just as I have been trained to work as an advocate for my clients as an attorney, I bring that same training and skill to my work as a sales associate. My goal is to get the best results for any client I work with within the context of a successful end result." Cathy's knowledge and true appreciation of all that South Florida has to offer its residents and her pleasant, approachable demeanor makes her the ideal partner to guide her clients down the path to their ultimate real estate dream.
