MADISON, N.J. (July 23, 2014) — Century 21 Real Estate LLC today announced that its president and chief executive officer Rick Davidson will lead a team of climbers on the 2014 “Climb for Kids” with fundraising on behalf of Easter Seals. Although Century 21 Real Estate LLC is not an official sponsor of the “Climb for Kids,” Davidson, who also serves as Chairperson of Easter Seals’ International Board of Directors, is leading a team of adventurers up, and down, Mount Elbrus, the tallest mountain in Europe and one of the world’s Seven Summits. The brand will engage consumers to generate awareness and support for its philanthropic partner, Easter Seals. The CENTURY 21® brand is donating $1 for every “like” it gets on its Facebook page until mid-August, up to $10,000.
“Easter Seals provided exceptional services, education, outreach, and advocacy to 1.8 million people in 2013, and it expects to help even more in 2014,” said Davidson, who will be going on his third Climb for Easter Seals this summer. “Fully 100 percent of all donations made to my team’s Climb will go directly to Easter Seals so it can help people living with autism and other disabilities, as well as veterans who need support transitioning back to civilian life, to live, learn, work and play in their communities.”
In addition to Rick Davidson, the 2014 Climb for Kids team include members from the CENTURY 21 network:
• Scott Becker, CENTURY 21 New Millennium, Alexandria, Virginia
• Natalia Aulenbacher of CENTURY 21 Freedom Realty, Kenai, Alaska.
The Climb for Kids journey will begin base camp on Mount Elbrus, where the team will tackle an elevation of 18,510 feet (5,642 meters). Part of the Caucasus Range that straddles Asia and Europe, Elbrus is the tallest mountain in Europe and one of the Seven Summits, the highest mountains in each of the continents.
