Just park your boat beside the dock instead of in a slip and enjoy swimming and fishing or relax on the dock with a good book. I've found that lake life is an incredibly happy life and I think you will, too. As you sit on the dock facing the huge wide cove (perfect for tubing and paddle boarding) look to your right and you will see Old Dobbins Bridge Road; you don't need to go under that bridge. You can if you choose depending on your boat, but you don't need to. Hop in your boat or on your jet ski and take a left and follow the cove out to buoy T14 and into the big water part of Lake Hartwell on the Tugaloo River. After swimming all day if you would like to grab dinner by boat you are within about a 30 minute boat ride to either Portman Marina or Harbor Light Marina. (Now the drive time depends on what kind of boat you have, how big your motor is and who is driving.) If you love a great view keep in mind that this property hasn't been underbrushed in a while so you can get your permit with the COE and improve the view significantly. This sale is cash only. No offers with a financing contingency will be considered and proof of funds will be required with an offer. The Shack has no stove and no heat other than a wood stove.
