Kristi Maruska's roots are in Mankato, Minnesota . She has diverse background experience, comes from a long line of entrepreneurs in the area, and is passionate about the growth of the beautiful city of Mankato!

She has had a varied career ranging from a business banker, business owner, and spending time giving back to the community working in higher education. Currently, Kristi is a professor at Minnesota State University's College of Business (Go Mavericks!) and teaches various Marketing and International business classes. Kristi's passion for education began when she received her Bachelor of Science from MSU and was accelerated as she earned her Master in Business Administration from The University of St. Thomas.

Kristi's passion for homes has always been inspired by her grandmothers. Her grandma Zeno was an interior designer and home economist while her Grandma Brennan was an accomplished artist and architect. From a young age, these women showed Kristi your home can be a happy, beautiful place to make memories with your loved ones; as well as being a family financial asset. Throughout her life, Kristi has always found passion in turning a house into a home.

Mankato's growth continues to excite Kristi. Her favorite parts of Mankato are the beautiful trails, serving as a board member of the Historical Society, exercising at the YMCA, and the ongoing events around the city. Her favorite event is the yearly River Ramble! In the summertime, you can find Kristi on her bike or enjoying Lake Washington with her family.
