Mike grew up in Southern Missouri, where he worked on a cattle farm throughout high school gaining a strong work ethic. He spent some time in the Army in a very specialized field, and upon returning home ended up in the bakery business selling Wonder Bread and Hostess Cakes. After climbing to the Vice President of Sales over several states, he moved to a position in the lumber business. He and his beautiful wife Lori have lived in Columbia since 1985, and they are proud to call Columbia home. Mike has been an active member of the community for over 35 years and is so excited to be turning his community focus toward real estate. He understands the stress that is involved in the buying or building process for the first time, or the tenth time. He was always grateful for the assistance of a real estate agent when purchasing a home or a rental property, and that is what he does for his clients. When he's not working hard for his clients, Mike works with a not-for-profit organization called Mid-America Special Sportsmen's Association, that he co-founded in 1999.
