Having been born and raised in Richmond, VA Carter attended Virginia Tech University. After graduation, Carter had the unique opportunity to work in a Real Estate office in North Carolina for their Relocation division. Later she moved to Wisconsin, California, Kentucky and finally South Carolina. Although she and her family have moved across the country and back, she is happy to come full circle in her career and to be back in Real Estate once more. Moving to South Carolina was a homecoming for her husband who grew up in the Spartanburg area. The Patterson family is proud to call Spartanburg home and have quickly gotten involved in the community. Being close to both the beach and mountains helps too! In her spare time, Carter enjoys refinishing furniture, reading, biking, going to the beach and watching her kids play sports. Buyer reviewWe had met Carter at an open house shortly before moving to the Spartanburg area a bit over a year ago and she helped us in purchasing a home. There was one area that we really wanted to live in, but could not find a suitable fit so we purchased something outside that area. We contacted Carter when we wanted to take a bit more time and get into that specific area. Carter helped us with some casual looking while figuring out financing options and timing. Once we had those figured out we would call her sometimes within hours of a new listing happening and she would get us out there as quickly as possible. The home we purchased had only been on a few days when she recommended we look at it after we had done a preliminary drive by of neighborhood and home. Carter gave us the time we needed in the home with the first showing and helped us get an offer together that evening. Presented it the next morning and we had a signed offer that night.
