Mr. Stevens was recommended by the contractor helping me with a complete house remodel. I fully trusted the contractor, and hence selected Mr. Stevens without any further review. He was extremely helpful in reviewing the sales process and the plan for marketing. He maintained routine contact with me during the duration of the house listing, continuously providing updates. Mr. Stevens even called me about a freezing weather report, to see if we had faucet covers (which we didn't). I was out of town and he volunteered to totally take care of. At the time of an offer and prospective sale, I was unexpectedly out of town for a family emergency over a prolonged period. I could not handle any of the issues that needed to be addressed. Mr. Stevens again totally took care of everything, I never even made it back to the house. He worked with me to arrange a time for me to come back to town to sign papers for closing, and made the process unbelievably simple. Above all, he exhibited a sincere attitude of compassion during a very personally stressful time for my family, and did not allow the house sale to add to our stress. I say all of these things with a heightened sense of gratitude, as I have recently sold another house and did not have this kind of experience at all with the broker I worked with. He definitely earned the commission and my heartfelt appreciation. I have already shared my experience and his name with so many people.
